I’m originally from Southern California and currently live in Dallas/Fort Worth with my husband Will. I am the author of multiple books, including How to Talk About Jesus Without Freaking Out, The Day I Met God, Finding a Man Worth Keeping, and The Automatic 2nd Date. These books have been published in multiple languages around the world.
My professional writing career officially began while earning my bachelor’s degree in journalism at California State University at Long Beach. At nineteen, I was paid as a freelance music critic for CCM—Contemporary Christian Music. During that same season, I broke into the televised award-show circuit as a talent liaison and coordinator for the Grammy Awards, MTV Awards, Emmy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and more. By twenty-three, I was promoted to talent and literary agent.
I am also a theologian and ordained minister. I earned a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from The King’s University with a focus on female friendship, and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. I taught for three years at UCLA and have coached women on life goals and transitions for more than twenty-five years.
The Coach
Victorya loved guiding the careers of her Hollywood clients, but she wanted a greater influence on their lives than simply finding the next short-term television or movie job. She completed her theology degree at night while continuing her agent career by day, then transitioned into her dream career as author, speaker, and coach.
The Author
Her single years inspired two relationship books. After more than one hundred first dates—with 98 percent asking for a second—she developed practical dating and relationship principles she continues to teach.
The Hollywood Career
Victorya spent more than a decade as a Beverly Hills talent and literary agent, booking more than $25 million in business. Her clients included award-winning producers, directors, writers, technical crew, and actors.
The Speaker
She helps audiences find purpose and live the thrilling life Christ offers in John 10:10. She has spoken throughout America at conferences, universities, churches, retreats, youth groups, and women’s events.
