Oh the Places You’ll Go

Life certainly has its ups and downs. One day you’re on “Cloud 9″ soaring above all the cares in this world. Another day you find you’re in the pit of despair (sometimes for no apparent reason). What God has taught me is that His mercies truly are new every morning. He has plans for us–plans for good and not for evil. And no matter how dismal your circumstances may be at the moment, God is there. He sees you. He cares for you and he has a plan for you (Psalm 139). Reach up and hold on. We don’t know the future but God does and tomorrow just might be the day things all come together. Many times I’ve been encouraged by Galatians 6:9 - “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Oh the places you’ll go when you say “Yes” to Jesus. Sure, you’ll have highs and lows like everyone else. The main difference is you’ll find purpose, peace and joy in the midst of your journey! When I look back at my life, filled with my share of drama and devastating challenges, more than anything I have been blessed. God is good. He has taken me to amazing places, introduced me to incredible people, and most importantly He’s been with me every step of the way, living on the inside and giving me my story showing that John 10:10 is true. The thief does come to still, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly! What is your story of what God has done for your life adventure?
