Are the Roaring 20s Here Again?

roaring 20s.png

The 20s are back. What will this decade of the 20s bring you? What will it bring your family? And how about America? The Roaring 20s of the Twentieth Century –the Jazz age– brought about great social change, wealth … and the flapper dress. It’s was a time of many inventions including the mass production of the automobile and indulgence into consumerism. Many good things happened but ultimately the Roaring 20s collapsed into the tragic Great Depression. But that doesn’t have to be repeated. We can learn from the past. We don’t have to be like “lambs to the slaughter”

A Proverbs a day keeps disaster at bay. There are 31 chapters in the book of wisdom found in the Old Testament and a chapter of Proverbs a day is an easy habit to add to your life. Yes, go head and indeed make your plans, seek

God and let Him direct your steps as you embark on this exciting new journey of the 2020s.

What goals do you have set for your life in this new fresh decade? Where do you want to be in 10 years? What safeguards and planning can you put in place now in the midst of plenty to prevent an ultimate collapse? In all your dreams, pondering and planning I encourage you to seek the One who truly knows you, loves you and knows the plans He has for you. The God who created you has great things in store for those who seek Him.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 NIV
